Mission Statement

Culture Shock Mag is an exciting, vibrant consumer web publication which informs its’ readers on music, fashion, and popular events in many areas. Many people only refer to what they hear and see on television when it comes to pop culture. Therefore, Culture Shock Mag transformed from a simple idea into a growing phenomenon.

Culture Shock Mag evolved from the television show, Culture Shock with Tatiana. The show is hosted by the unique persona of Middle Tennessee State University student, Tatiana R. Johnson who is also Editor-In-Chief of Culture Shock Mag.

The television show is broadcasted on the Middle Tennessee State University access Channel 10, which is successfully being shown throughout Rutherford County Tennessee. The television show is also located on the World Wide Web at www.cultureshockmag.com and www.youtube.com.

Culture Shock Mag is not only an online publication but has become a student organization on the Middle Tennessee State University Campus with a growing membership at Tennessee State University as well.

The mission of Culture Shock Mag Society of Middle Tennessee State University is to promote the interest of writing and advertising for media and to conduct activities for members to have a lead way in the marketing, journalism and advertising industry.

Culture Shock Mag represents the start of a new age towards music, fashion and culture that gives the latest information to the masses straight forward and correct. The magazine has established an outgoing student made staff that continuously brings creative and informative news to today’s youth.
