The Mental monster, Waka Flocka Flame originally from Queens and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia recently survived a shooting but that hasn’t stopped him from various club appearances, interviews and even Diddy jumping on the remix to hit single, O Lets Do It. Waka describes himself as the rock band mixed with Wu-Tang and Onyx. Wocka his nickname and Flocka Flame coming from friend Gucci Mane.

Not too long ago he went on stage to say he couldn’t rap and was only in it for the money. Some would say why rap when the “real” money is behind the scenes. He replied, “That’s where I began, behind the scenes filling in the blank spots of the label, I rap for fun to keep it crunk.”   He sees the rap scene as developing, especially with new forms of outlets. Counting his favorite websites as, WorldStarHipHop, Skype and managing his Twitter account, saying people put too much of their business out there. Of course he’s gotten a great deal of what he calls “inappropriate” tweets but it’s all entertainment.
