"Thoughts"

Pill leaks Thoughts, off his upcoming mixtape 1140: The Overdose.

Who said the South was dead? Anyone who’s heard of Pill knows that southern rappers can be just as lyrical and full of content as any respected artist of any coast. Pill has been on hip hop’s underground radar for a few years now. He created major buzz with his single, “Trap Going Ham” from his mixtape 4075 The Refill.

Being from Atlanta, Pill shares light with rappers like Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, but he definitely has his own style. His lyrics capture and tell stories. He’s an artist that prides his work on being very personal and subtle. There’s not a lot of bragging coming from Pill, just reflections on hard times and optimistic outlooks to the future

Pill sold drugs as a teenager to support his family while his mother was an addict her self. His upbringing had a different affect on him than you’d think. He has a story to tell and is determined for everyone to hear. Pill has signed with Asylum Records and should be releasing more work soon. Pill is apart of the mixtape generation of rappers. He’s gotten free buzz from fans, but he should have no problem switching over to mainstream.
